The latest desktop version (not the iOS app) replaced the three corner registration marks with a full rectangle that encloses your image.
This is what you should see around your image when you get to the preview screen. (The arrows are part of my image, not the registration mark.)
If you don't see that, sign out of Design Space, close the Design Space tab (and any other DS tabs you might have open) then open DS again. You should see a message telling you that DS is being updated.
